Commitment to Accessibility
Sunset Predictor is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
Sunset Predictor is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard, though we are actively working to address these gaps.
Accessibility Features
We have implemented the following features to improve accessibility:
- Semantic HTML: We use appropriate HTML5 elements to provide structure and context for screen readers.
- Keyboard Navigation: Most interactive elements are accessible via keyboard.
- Color Contrast: We strive to maintain high contrast ratios for text and UI elements.
- Responsive Design: The application is fully responsive and usable on devices of all sizes.
- ARIA Labels: We use ARIA labels where visual context might not be sufficient for screen readers.
